Make up & Self-Grooming Workshop for BHM students

The objective of the workshop on makeup and self-grooming classes conducted by Shubhashree College of Management for BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management) girl students in association with Mirrors Beauty Saloon encompassed a variety of goals aimed at personal and professional development. It was organized to empower BHM girl students with the knowledge and skills to enhance their professional image and appearance, recognizing the importance of a polished and well-groomed presentation in the hospitality industry. The workshop also aimed to provide students for their future careers in the hospitality sector by providing them with insights into industry expectations regarding personal grooming and appearance standards. It was conducted also to educate students on the proper and professional application of makeup suitable for different occasions and settings, emphasizing subtlety and appropriateness in the hospitality industry

Students gained an understanding of the importance of maintaining a professional appearance in the hospitality industry, recognizing that personal grooming contributes significantly to creating a positive and polished image. Students acquired self-grooming skills, including skincare routines, hair care, and overall personal hygiene practices that align with the industry’s high standards. The workshop contributed in building self-confidence of participants by providing them with the knowledge and skills to present themselves professionally, ultimately boosting their confidence in both personal and professional spheres. The workshop aimed to equip BHM girl students with valuable skills and knowledge that extend beyond academic studies, preparing them for successful careers in the competitive and customer-focused hospitality industry.
