The Hotel Management department of Shubhashree College of Management organized one day Beverage industry visit on 26th April 2024 for the current BHM 2nd semester. The objectives of the industrial visit was to familiarize the students with the soft drinks related beverage industry, its commercial production process involved and ultimately to help students understand the product differentiation within the beverage sector. The students were led by Food and Beverage instructor Mr. Shreejan K.C. and current BHM coordinator for Shubhashree College of Management Mr. Subodh Subedi.
38 students actively participated for the visit where they travelled couple of hours to reach the destination at Balaju Industrial Area, Kathmandu. There they were welcomed and greeted by Ms. Deepti Thakuri Basnyat (Current Human Resource Manager at Coca Cola) followed by round tour of the property for about 2 hours where the companys tour guide briefly highlighted all the production process as well as the cleaning, sorting, bottling, packaging, quality control, inventory aspect and marketing aspects of the companys product line. Furthermore, the companys team took some feedback session to clarify and understand the tour outcomes. Students then travelled back to college premises and was given a short notice to prepare a report of the visit to the Food and Beverage Instructor Mr. Shreejan K.C.
