The Hotel Management department of Shubhashree College of Management organized one day Brewery visit on 1st December for the current students of 3rd, 4th and 5th Semester. The objectives of the industrial visit and exposure were to help the students relate beer production in commercial with their academic course texts. The students were led by Food and Beverage instructor Mr. Shreejan K.C. and Current Chef for Shubhashree Mr. Gaurav Katwal.
62 students actively participated for the visit where they travelled couple of hours to reach the destination at Kurintar. There they were welcomed and greeted by Mr. Ram Chandra Ghimire (Current Sr. Brewery Tour Executive) followed by round tour of the property for about 2 hours where he briefly highlighted all the production process as well as the packing and marketing aspects of the companys product line. Furthermore, Mr. Ghimire has some feedback session to clarify and understand the tour outcomes. Students then travelled back to Kathmandu with some lunch and dinner session in between and some part of refreshment.
