The Hotel Management department of Shubhashree College of Management organized one day professional Rangoli decoration demonstration calling a Housekeeping expert Ms. Anusha Chhetri Koirala where she familiarized students with proper use of Acrylic color in decorations on 8th October 2023 in college seminar hall for the current 3rd, 4th and 5th semester students. The objectives of the training was to help the students know the aspect of aesthetic value of decorations, its compositions, sketching and idea generalization and application of the ingredients and to create certain matching theme for most of the events.
All semester students actively participated during the session and later they demonstrated few sketches as their learning outcomes. Key trainers demonstration helped students’ later come up with few designs where initially the first sketch was placed on the lobby with the Shubhashree design and the second highlighting the parenthood.
One and half hours of interactive session came to an end with final notes and thoughts on the demonstration. Overall, students were encouraged to participate in upcoming rangoli competition and any other competitions in the nearby future.
