On Kartik 28, 2081, the Shubhashree Induction Program continued with a dynamic Day 3, welcoming new BBA, BHM, and BCSIT students to Shubhashree College of Management. We are grateful to our guest speakers and experts who enriched the day with their insights and expertise, offering invaluable perspectives to our students.

Our esteemed guests included Prof. Dr. Subarna Shakya, Director of the IT Innovation Center at TU and a Professor at Pulchowk Campus, TU. Prof. Dr. Shakya shared his extensive knowledge of IT innovation, emphasizing the role of emerging technologies in academic and professional landscapes. Mr. Sanjeev Kr. Suman, Executive Chef at Vivanta, inspired students by sharing his culinary journey and the importance of creativity and precision in the hospitality industry. Mr. Santosh Subedi, Unit Lead for Learning & Development at Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, provided insights into the evolving nature of learning and career development in the banking sector, encouraging students to continuously hone their skills and adapt to industry trends.

The day also included a series of departmental presentations, where college staff introduced students to key resources and support systems within the institution:

Front Desk Presentation by Ms. Khageshwari Mahata gave students an understanding of the college’s front desk services, emphasizing the importance of a welcoming and helpful support system for smooth day-to-day operations.
Account Department Presentation by Mr. Roshan Chaudhary covered the college’s financial procedures, helping students become familiar with fee structures, financial policies, and support services.
Additional departmental presentations provided more in-depth information across various areas. Ms. Smriti Tiwari, IT Officer, outlined the technological resources available for academic enhancement, while Mr. Avishek Roy, Manager of College Affairs, provided practical guidance on college administration and student support services.

To further acquaint students with their academic programs, Mr. Jaya Raj Khadka, BCSIT Coordinator, presented an overview of the technology curriculum. Ms. Smriti Tiwari, Program Officer, then outlined student engagement opportunities and academic expectations. Mr. Milan Adhikari, Exam Officer, explained examination procedures and the grading system, and Ms. Nisha Bista, Library Officer, highlighted the wealth of resources available to students within the college library.
