The Hotel Management department of Shubhashree College of Management and Elite Bartenders Academy jointly organized a two (2) day Bar Flaring Training and Workshop 15th and 16th Poush (31st December 2023 and 1st January 2024)0 in the college restaurant training hall for the current BHM 4th and 5th semester students. The objective of the training followed by workshop was to familiarize students with Basic Bar Flaring skills, handling procedures as well as safety and quality pouring and demonstration.
Seventeen (17) students actively participated in event from 2 different semesters and later an assessment of their performance has displayed an amazing result followed by the certification program. Key trainer for the program was Mr. Bed Panta who engaged students on a personal basis. First day identification of equiments, tools and basic pouring skills were taught. On the second day further pouring skills, mixing skills and hand/art work of mixing was practiced with students.
Three hours of interactive session for each day came to an end with objective questions as final assessment and key final notes and thoughts on training from BHM Coordinator Subodh Subedi and Trainer Mr. Bed panta. Overall, the student found an exposure and career insight from the trainer.
