On Kartik 29, 2081, the Shubhashree Induction Program concluded with a well-rounded and informative Day 4, marking the end of a transformative journey for the new BBA, BHM, and BCSIT students at Shubhashree College of Management. The final day focused on departmental presentations and reflections on the students’ academic paths, capped off with a heartfelt closing ceremony.

We were honored to host esteemed speakers whose expertise added depth and inspiration to the program:

  • Mr. Ram Prasad Dahal, F&B Manager at Hotel Heritage Bhaktapur, shared invaluable insights into the art and science of food and beverage management, inspiring our hospitality students.
  • Mr. Shaswot Sher Adhikari, CEO of EkGhanti Services and Co-Founder of Khaanpin Hospitality, captivated the audience with his entrepreneurial journey, emphasizing innovation and adaptability in today’s competitive landscape.
  • Mr. Bibek Dhakal, Co-Lead at GDG Kathmandu, Co-Founder of College Tiffin Sewa Pvt. Ltd., and IT Project Manager at Himalayas Craft Nepal, encouraged students to embrace technology and innovation, sharing practical insights on bridging academia and industry.

For the BCSIT students, the day included presentations that provided clarity on key academic and support services. Ms. Smriti Tiwari, Program Officer, offered insights into program engagement and academic expectations, followed by Mr. Milan Adhikari, Exam Officer, who outlined examination procedures and grading systems. Ms. Nisha Bista, Library Officer, concluded the session with a detailed explanation of the library resources, encouraging students to utilize them for academic excellence. The day ended with a thoughtful Closing Ceremony, skillfully hosted by our MC, reflecting on the learnings and experiences of the past four days.

For the BHM students, the day began with a Front Desk Presentation by Ms. Khageshwari Mahata, who shared details about the operational aspects of front desk services and their role in the hospitality industry. This was followed by Mr. Roshan Chaudhary, from the Account Department, who discussed financial policies and processes relevant to students, ensuring transparency and understanding of college administrative systems.

For the BBA students, Ms. Smriti Tiwari, Program Officer, delivered an informative session on academic opportunities and engagement. Mr. Avishek Roy, Manager of College Affairs, provided an overview of administrative resources available to support students throughout their journey. The day concluded with a presentation by Ms. Nisha Bista, Library Officer, who guided students on leveraging library resources effectively.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all our speakers and presenters, whose contributions have been instrumental in making this induction program a success. Their expertise, insights, and encouragement have provided students with a solid foundation to embark on their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
