Fruit and Vegetable Carving Decoration Demonstration

Professional Culinary decoration demonstration session of Fruits and vegetable carving was organized by Hotel Management department of Shubhashree College of Management on 9th May 2024. The demonstration session was carried out by industry expert Mr. Parsu G.C (Former Chef-Hotel De’ la Annapurna) where he familiarized students with proper use of tool and Techniques used in decorations. 

4th Semesters 22 students actively participated during the session. The session was carried out in such a way that initially students were briefed about the session, followed by basic vegetable cuts, carving techniques and later students demonstrated their learnt outcomes via several fruits and root vegetables with different designs.  

Around 4 hours of interactive session had the feedback and QnA session from  students. They interacted with the chef about proper selection while purchasing, handling and sketching basic shapes. The carving thus carried out by the help of trainer and the facilitated students were displayed in State banquet session on a décor table.
