Saraswati Puja 2080

Saraswati Puja is not only a religious observance but also a cultural celebration that brings communities together. It fosters a spirit of learning and creativity, emphasizing the importance of education in Hindu culture. The festival promotes the idea that true wealth lies in knowledge and wisdom, inspiring individuals to pursue intellectual endeavors with dedication and sincerity.

Saraswati Puja also known as Vasant Panchami  is a vibrant and joyous festival celebrated by Hindus to honor the goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, and learning. This auspicious occasion typically falls in late January or early February. Devotees believe that worshiping Saraswati on this day brings blessings for academic success, creativity, and intellectual growth. This year saraswati puja was celebrated on 14th february, Wednesday on the college premises with the presence of Principal maam, coordinator of BBA & BHM , Staffs, Faculty members and students from all semester.

 The goddess is often depicted seated on a white lotus, symbolizing purity, with a veena (musical instrument) in her hands. Students, faculties, and staff seek the blessings for proficiency in their respective fields. On the Occasion of Saraswati Puja, Subhashree college of Management welcomed all the students, faculties,staffs and Alumni for the celebration of Vasanta Panchami where elaborate rituals are performed, including the chanting of sacred hymns and the offering of flowers, fruits, and sweets. Traditional prayers and ceremonies took place in college premises , where students express gratitude for knowledge and seek guidance for their academic pursuits.

The Puja was performed by Principal maam,Ms. Manita Oli, BHM Program Coordinator, Mr. Subodh Subedi, BBA coordinator, Mr. Anish Poudel, staff, faculties where saraswati Bandana was sung followed by the distribution of fruits,Buniya,etc.
