The event featured distinguished speakers who shared their expertise and experiences, offering key insights into various aspects of the entrepreneurial journey.
Day 1: Mr. Samir Phuyal – Idea Generation and Execution: Mr. Samir Phuyal, Founder of Karobar App and Global Student Entrepreneur Award winner, kicked off the event by sharing his experiences in idea generation and taking those ideas forward. Students gained valuable insights into the creative process and learned about the practical steps involved in turning ideas into successful ventures.
Day 2: Mr. Nikhil N Shakya – Business Idea Drafting and Data Representation: Mr. Nikhil Sakhaya, Managing director Skill Square Pvt Ltd, guided students on how to draft a business idea and effectively represent data graphically. Participants learned the art of presenting their business concepts in a visually compelling manner, a crucial skill in attracting investors and stakeholders.
Day 3: Mr. Anil Shrestha – Importance of Finance in Startups: Mr. Anil Shrestha, Founder & CEO of Navya Advisors, emphasized the significance of finance in startup businesses. Students gained a deeper understanding of financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure the financial sustainability of their entrepreneurial ventures.
Day 4: Ms. Jasmin Karmacharya – Legal Aspects of Opening a Business in Nepal: Corporate lawyer Ms. Jasmin Karmacharya provided insights into the legal aspects of starting a new business in Nepal. Students learned about regulatory compliance, intellectual property rights, and other legal considerations crucial for establishing and running a business.
Day 5: Ms. Anjana Malla – Sustainable Products and Marketing: Ms. Anjana Malla, Founder & CEO of Deego Nepal, shared her experience in creating sustainable products and effectively marketing them. Students gained inspiration on incorporating sustainability into their business models and learned practical marketing strategies.
Day 6: Ms. Paru Sapkota – Journey and Challenges of a Women Entrepreneur: The event concluded with Ms. Paru Sapkota, Founder & CEO of Kanya Health & Beauty , sharing her journey and challenges as a women entrepreneur. Students were motivated by her experiences and gained insights into overcoming challenges in the entrepreneurial landscape.
